Marcus Rashford marked his debut with brilliant hat-trick and sent a message to both Sam Allardyce and Jose Mourinho as the England Under-21’s beat Norway 6-1 in their European Championships qualifier.
The teenage striker has now found the net on his first appearance for Manchester United, England, and the England U21s.
Chelsea’s Nathaniel Chalobah scored the second as England strolled to success in front of Allardyce and assistant Sammy Lee.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek then added a delightful third – his fourth in as many U21 games – before Rashford curled in another.
Ghayas Zahid pulled one back for the visitors but it did little to spoil the mood at the Community Stadium.
Rashford scored his third from the spot before Lewis Baker added England’s sixth late on.
