Triza Njeri, the estranged wife of gospel singer Karangu Muraya, has responded to critics questioning her bond with her children and parents. In a candid TikTok live session, Triza asserted that she does not need to prove her love for her family by sharing their lives on social media.
Triza Defends Her Decision to Keep Family Life Private
Amid scrutiny following her separation from Karangu Muraya, Triza addressed concerns regarding her relationship with their children. She pointed out that while her ex-husband frequently shares pictures of their children online, she chooses not to.
“They don’t even know if I see my kids. Kwani kila wakati nikiwaona nafaa niwawekee hapa? (Must I post them every time I see them?) I have never brought my kids on Facebook, and when I see them, I won’t come here to announce it,” she stated firmly.
Why Triza Avoids Posting Her Parents
Triza also addressed claims that she had neglected her parents, explaining that she has never been one to share their lives online. She recalled a time when someone, presumably Karangu, posted them without her consent, leaving her furious.
“There’s even someone who said that I haven’t gone to see my parents because I haven’t posted them. I have never brought my parents here on social media, and that’s why when I saw someone post them, I was angry,” she emphasized.
Social Media Reactions
Triza’s strong response sparked mixed reactions online. Some supported her stance on privacy, while others questioned her defensive approach.
One commenter stated, “She is right… achaneni na Triza please.” Another, however, remarked, “Mbona unaskia mambo ya watoto unakuwa mkali hivo?” (Why do you get so defensive when talking about your children?).
Triza and Karangu’s Separation
Triza and Karangu Muraya’s relationship took a turn after he allegedly left her to marry a second wife. Following their split, Triza moved out of their matrimonial home, sparking increased curiosity about her personal life.
Despite the public interest, Triza remains committed to keeping her family affairs away from social media, insisting that her relationships with her children and parents are personal matters, not for public display.
