University of Nairobi have issued a statement regarding death of one student during the students demos witnessed last week when former UoN chairman Babu Owino was arrested.
They denied the allegations that a students had died from police brutality, but admitted that one student is supposed to undergo an operation at KNH who is among the other 27 students who got injured during the violent demos.
This comes even as the former UoN chair who is now the current MP for Embakassi East is planning for a peaceful demo towards the police who brutalized the students
