Vanessa Mdee, a former Bongo Flava star, recently opened up about the dark side of the music industry, describing it as a place rife with satanic practices and manipulation. In an interview with Clouds Digital, Mdee revealed that her decision to step away from the industry was fueled by a desire to regain her peace and reconnect with her spirituality, which she felt was being compromised by the industry’s pressures.

“The music industry is not as glamorous as it seems. Behind the scenes, there is a lot of darkness, satanic rituals, questionable practices, and a loss of self,” Mdee shared, shedding light on the disturbing side of the industry. She recounted her chilling encounter with a Tanzanian music manager who informed her that before releasing music, artists had to take their songs to witchdoctors for success. She also disclosed that certain management teams would explicitly forbid artists from mentioning God or Jesus in their songs.

Mdee’s revelations didn’t stop there. She emphasized how the overwhelming pressure, greed, and manipulation led her to become someone she didn’t recognize. “I wanted to regain peace and spirituality. I realized I was becoming someone I didn’t recognize. The pressure to conform, the greed, and the manipulation are overwhelming,” she said, reflecting on her decision to leave the limelight.

The artist also cautioned others about the ease with which musicians can unknowingly enter into “evil covenants” in their pursuit of success. She urged them to be vigilant and avoid getting caught up in the industry’s dark practices.

Mdee’s candid statements have sparked a conversation about the hidden realities of the music industry and the importance of maintaining personal values and spirituality in the face of fame and success.
