Family Struggles and Emotional Challenges

Vivian’s posts on social media shed light on the coldness and lack of support she felt from the women in her family. According to her, instead of receiving comfort or guidance, she faced harsh criticism. She recalled moments where her sister called her mentally unstable, and an aunt even visited her house to harass her. When Vivian sought refuge with her mother after her divorce, she was met with questions about why she should return home.

“My family is in the pits. When I went through the divorce, my sister called me mentally sick. My aunt came to harass me in my own house. When I attempted to come back home from the West, my mother asked me why I should,” Vivian recounted emotionally.

Vivian continued to express her frustrations, saying, “The women from my mum’s side are numb and cold; my sister leading the pack.” This betrayal from her family, especially during such a difficult period, seemed to have weighed heavily on her.

Empowerment and Breaking Free

Despite the emotional toll, Vivian made it clear that she would no longer allow anyone, including her family, to silence her. “I want them to know they can never silence me or break me. I will always speak up for myself and my children. Suppression, fear, harassment, self-centeredness ends here and now. Siwaogopi,” she boldly declared, vowing to remain strong for herself and her children.

Vivian also reflected on the generational trauma she believes exists within her family, sharing a personal revelation about deep-rooted curses. “I realized that the trauma I have started from my upbringing. My bloodline has some serious curses and now a younger generation of young men is coming up in the same family.”

Ongoing Criticism and Public Support

In a follow-up post, Vivian mentioned that the fallout with her family continued after her public revelations. “My family is possibly at the end of things with all kinds of energy being thrown at me after yesterday’s post,” she shared.

Despite this, netizens rallied behind her, offering words of encouragement and solidarity. Many expressed their admiration for her bravery in speaking out, with comments like, “Facing family rejection got to be the most heartbreaking thing on earth, take heart Vivian,” and “I love that for her. Breaking free.”

Vivian’s Divorce and the Public Fallout

The public scrutiny did not end with her family. In 2021, Vivian had a highly publicized breakup with Sam West, with accusations flying between the former couple. Vivian revealed that Sam had ended the relationship because she was not his type, and she accused him of causing financial losses. Vivian also stated that Sam had not taken the relationship seriously.

In a recent update, Sam West disclosed that Vivian had blocked him on all social media platforms, further indicating the tension between the two.

Vivian’s openness about her personal challenges, including the fallout from her divorce and family issues, has sparked an outpouring of support from her fans, who admire her resilience and courage in the face of adversity.

As Vivian continues to navigate this difficult chapter in her life, it is clear that she is determined not to let her past define her future. She has made it clear that she will no longer be silenced and that her focus will remain on her children and her personal growth.
