While specific details such as the date, venue, and event organizers are yet to be disclosed, Kartel’s confirmation has sparked immense excitement. Nairobi Gossip Club shared a screenshot of his response, and fans flooded social media with reactions, expressing their eagerness to attend.

Many fans declared their determination to witness the event at any cost, with some even joking about traveling from distant parts of Kenya to see the dancehall icon perform.

Vybz Kartel’s Controversial Ticket Pricing in Brooklyn

The announcement of his Kenyan concert follows controversy surrounding the ticket prices for his upcoming performance at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, scheduled for April 11, 2025. This will be his first live performance in over two decades, making it a historic moment for his global fan base.

However, ticket prices have stirred debate, with costs ranging from KSh 38,550 for upper-level seats to KSh 227,445 for premium floor seats. Mid-tier tickets are priced at approximately KSh 102,800. While some die-hard fans are willing to pay any price, others have criticized the high costs, arguing they may be unaffordable for ordinary supporters.

Will Kenya Face Similar Ticket Prices?

With Kenyan fans eagerly awaiting details on ticket pricing for his Nairobi concert, concerns have arisen over whether similar high rates will be applied. Many hope for an affordable experience that allows more fans to attend and enjoy the much-anticipated show.

Despite these uncertainties, Vybz Kartel’s confirmation alone has generated immense buzz, and fans remain optimistic about witnessing the World Boss live in Kenya. The upcoming concert is set to be one of the most highly anticipated music events of the year.
