Wavinya Maria, the popular content creator and influencer, recently dismissed claims that she used embattled businessman Khalif Kairo for his money before leaving him just as he started facing legal issues. The breakup between Wavinya and Kairo has been the subject of much speculation, with fans questioning whether she left due to his financial troubles.

In a heated exchange on social media, one fan boldly asked Wavinya how she managed to leave Kairo after allegedly benefiting financially from him. “Uliamua kukula pesa ya Kairo, ukamwacha kuitwa my wife kamami. Tueleweshe role model wangu,” the fan wrote. Wavinya wasted no time in responding, remarking: “The fact that it looks like I ate all that money, says a lot.” Her comment seemed to hint at the luxurious lifestyle she had been living, which only fueled the speculation.

The conversation took another turn when another fan humorously claimed that Kairo had asked Wavinya to refund money he spent on her, including funds to cover his bail after being arrested on fresh fraud charges. Wavinya shot back, asking, “Have you become his spokesperson?” She later responded to another comment questioning whether she and Kairo were legally married. Wavinya cryptically replied, “Kuna interviews mingi umemiss, catch up,” implying that there were details from previous interviews that might shed light on the situation.

Wavinya also urged fans to stop meddling in her personal life. “Yall seriously and desperately need to move on,” she wrote, showing frustration over the persistent public interest in her relationship with Kairo.

Despite the public breakup, which occurred in late 2024, Kairo had previously clarified that their split was due to his workaholic tendencies and not because of his financial or legal troubles. He denied claims that Wavinya had left him because of his mounting issues.

The pair were known for their extravagant lifestyle during their time together, frequently sharing photos of romantic dates and even private jet trips. Their high-profile relationship led many to speculate that Wavinya might have left Kairo when his fortunes began to change.

Wavinya’s direct responses to fans demonstrate her frustration with the rumors surrounding her breakup with Kairo. Despite the online chatter, she remains confident in her choices, urging others to mind their own business and move on from the past.

Netizens quickly reacted to Wavinya’s responses, with some supporting her and others continuing to speculate about her relationship with Kairo. Comments ranged from jokes about money and love to statements about the complexities of relationships.

As the drama continues to unfold online, it’s clear that Wavinya and Kairo’s breakup remains a topic of fascination for their fans. However, both seem determined to move forward in their own ways, despite the ongoing public interest in their personal lives.
