A few weeks ago, WhatsApp wanted to renew itself by implementing a new feature through which users could easily send GIFs.
In the previous update, each person should look for GIFs in external sites to be saved in the gallery and then moved to the conversation, but that could change very soon.
A new beta version (2.17.6) of the application includes a new feature that will allow you to search for and send GIFs from the massive library we know from Giphy from the WhatsApp application.
To start using this tool, users should press the emoji button next to the text entry field and then toggle between emoji and GIF from the bottom bar.
Similarly, you can specify a keyword to find the animation you want corresponding to your mood or the context of the conversation, either group or interpersonal.
GIFs are really fashionable and we see them on many social platforms, so it was starting to be absurd not to be able to send them through WhatsApp, the most famous instant messaging application worldwide.
As part of the update, we can now convert videos of less than 12 seconds and share them with the GIF format from our Android mobile device (not yet announced the arrival of the new version for iOS).
Moreover, WhatsApp will want to look generous with users with the increase of 30 photos limit per submission. We will be able to send captures of foreign conversations to other people without sending images of 10 in 10.
