It is estimated that one in every hundred people face a curious problem. Some sounds, voices, or musical melodies cause dizziness.
When they hear them they feel nauseous vertigo, and they have the sensation that the head is spinning. Almost as if they were drunk.
Now, a study conducted by the University of Utah has found the cause. These people suffer from the so-called upper channel dehiscence syndrome, which is caused by an opening in the bone that covers the upper semicircular canal of the inner ear.
This opening causes vibrations that send erroneous signals to the brain, specifically the region linked to the sensation of balance. And the result is that the person begins to experience the same symptoms that cause a blunder.
