Many Kenyans on Twitter like to challenge Uganda’s long serving president Yoweri Kagutat Museveni.
On many times it is all about satire when they think Museveni has crossed a red line of democracy. But this time round I will challenge them to harvest hashtags of heavy rains.
President Yoweri Museveni has led by example when it comes to food agriculture, for those Kenyans who have been in Uganda will agree with me that food in Uganda is well served and cheap than it is in Kenya.
Sometimes most of Kenyans depend of Uganda agriculture Products such as sugar and maize.
On this farm, I am planting sunflower, oranges, cassava, mangoes and pineapples. I will return in September to begin harvesting. pic.twitter.com/0nOx2Yr0Gs

One of the reasons, when Ugandans are planting, Kenyans are busing using memes, emojis and hashtags to show how the rains is wrecking havoc and blame their government for not having blue-prints to tap water for future use.
Even if the government tapped water for future use, what will it be used for? Kenyans are funny, they will use the water for swimming pools.
It is high time the government and the citizen at large left internet and side talks to take the jembes and till their farms.
If we leave everything to the farmers, they cannot feed the whole population which is growing at an alarming state.
Besides, Museveni is not a farmer, but a professional army man!

I oppose the idea that society should have two categories of people; the rich and the poor. I have worked against this since the 1960s. I believe this country is rich and fertile, there should be no reason for such classes. pic.twitter.com/RBwcH7H1ED

I have over the years urged wanainchi to embrace commercial agriculture. We have had campaigns like Plan for Modernisation of Agriculture, NAADS etc but these seem not have fully filtered down to the people. pic.twitter.com/kWRim9crdx

In establishing these farms, I want to involve myself directly in commercial agriculture and lead by example. It seeks to demonstrate the rational and frugal use of limited space to maximize outputs. pic.twitter.com/nN2kbffG28

This is the four-acre model, where each acre is dedicated to a particular high-value crop. I assure farmers that there is market for products like coffee and maize. But you must ensure the quality is good. pic.twitter.com/FGQCIYPYGR
