Police in Nairobi central business district have launched a manhunt of a man who raped a woman in broad daylight in a bizarre incident along River Road.

Shock as woman is raped by street urchin in broad daylight along River Road as his colleagues cheers him

To help uncover the case within short time possible, police have asked the woman in the video to come forward so as to assist in providing relevant information needed.

In the disturbing video, street boys single out the unfortunate woman, before one of them forces his way to rape her.

As the woman cries for help, the street boys aka chokoraas cheer as busy Nairobi onlookers watch in mute.

“Help I’m being raped,” screamed the woman

The woman is raped for more than 5 minutes before they leave her under no ones mercies.

Even the person recording her sex ordeal, could not serve of help rather than recording her as she is raped.

“Don’t kill me please and warn that person to stop recording. He might cause me to be killed,” she cried.

As Nairobians condemned the incident on social media, the woman has been asked by police to help in investigation

“What happened to the woman was wrong and we are urging her, wherever she is, to come to my office and record a statement so that she can help us in getting the men behind it,” said Nairobi Director of Criminal Investigations Nicholas Kamwende

In most of Nairobi low class areas, it has become so profound for criminals posing as ‘friends’ to steal from you or even maim and kill you as crowds watch and record in distance with little or no help.

The matter was so more profound in Nairobi CBD that saw police release a group of police detectives to hunt the gangs.

The move has served no much progress, since their deployment, a woman has been raped in broad daylight!
