Controversial Laikipia Woman Rep Catherine Waruguru is back in news again for the same different only with a twisted approach.
While addressing her followers, she stated that she was shocked that no man had asked her hand for love despite the fact the she was beautiful.
Hon.Waruguru told the faithful at PCEA Mathaithi Church in Nyeri county that she was later taken by a man not from his area in Nyeri.
“When I was in Nyeri, none of the guys winked at me. But in Nanyuki, I met a Kalenjin guy who took me to Kericho,” she said.
As a result she urged Nyeri women not to spend alot of their time waiting for those men but rather look elsewhere
“We believe in a new Kenya where people love each other. Even single young girls here (Nyeri) should look for a Kalenjin to get married to,” she said.
Speaking to the event grassed by Deputy President William Ruto, she also added that she moved to Laikipia county due to scarcity of land in her home area.
About a couple of weeks ago, she was in news after she was blocked from spending a night with her husband at Sunshine Hotel in Kericho after they failed to produce a marriage certificate.
She has since been encouraging women to get married as second wives, noting that she was happily married as a second wife.
