Hungry and angry Kenyans are still taking time to understand that another batch of 37,000 tones of maize has landed from Ukraine and Russia.
The feed was actually meant to feed animals, a similar batch of maize from Mexico was actually meant for animal consumption before it was made available for hungry citizens.
The country has been faced with scarcity of maize, with a packet of 2kg going for about sh.200.
The government imported maize flour has been subsided to sh.90.
Maize shortage came following a large spell of dry season, which was described by weather men as unusual and catastrophic
Yellow maize from Ukraine and Russia meant for animal consumption, how low can we go? How did we get here in the first place? 14B stolen!!!
