In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, SyreWorld shared that the loss of his mother to cancer left him devastated. Seeking solace, he traveled to Kenya, expecting to stay for three weeks. The visit extended to seven months, during which he experienced the warmth and kindness of Kenyan people. “Every smile, every sunset reminded me I was still alive. This song is a story of healing, love, and rebirth,” he said. He added that Kenya became the place where his creativity returned, leading to the creation of the track.
The song combines gentle reggae and acoustic soul, delivering an uplifting and spiritual tone. SyreWorld discovered his musical talent in high school, joining the school choir where he honed his vocal skills and learned the discipline of performance. Later, he pursued technical studies in IT, combining his passion for technology with music, which enriched his creative approach.
