1.Mohammed Salah

Salah has already struck 13 goals for Liverpool in his second season as he seeks cup glory in 2018/19 season

Similarly he won the BBC player of the year 2018 after winning it in a row from 2017.

The 26 year old Salah has already produced 57 goals at Liverpool FC and helped his national Team Egypt  secure a spot in the oncoming Afcon competitions 

2.Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

The Gabon national player gave Arsenal FC 10 goals in first season and now has bagged 12 goals in the second opening season

The 29-year old has demonstrated a solid body as striker as Unai Emery looks to return Gunners days of Glory

3.Sadio Mane

The 26 year Liverpool sensational striker was among the top list of 5 nominees who made it to the BBC African player nominee.

He has been an immense signing for Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool and a solid captain for Senegal National Team

4.Kalidou Koulibaly

Another top defender in Europe for Napoli, he has been a top player for both Senegal and his team Napoli in Europe.

Napoli seats at position 2 in 2018/19 challenge as they look to rival league leaders Juventus 

5.Medhi Benatia

Medhi Amine El Mouttaqi Benatia is a French-Moroccan footballer who has been a big signing for Juventus.

during the Serie A match between Juventus FC and AC Milan at Juventus Stadium on March 10, 2017 in Turin, Italy.

Benatian also featured for Bayern Munich before joining the Italian league leaders Juventus

6.Thomas Partey

Defensive mid-player has been also a sold defensive midfielder at Atletico Madrid and his home team Ghana

He also made it to the list of top five nominees for African Player BBC award

7.Alex Iwobi

Unai Emery has found another key playmaker in his team Arsenal.

8.Riyad Mahrez
