On the evening of 15th January 2019, Kenyans were shocked with breaking headlines across the country and the entire world of another terror attack that claimed the lives of at least 14 innocent people and left hundred injured.
The 14 Riverside Drive attack on the complex, with Dusit D2 becoming the main hotspot had some of the most shocking coincidences during the attack.
We have compiled 10 moments we believe they were just unique and shocking on their own during the attack.
1.Number 14
The attack happened on 14 Riverside Drive complex, the same number 14 President Uhuru Kenyatta had announced was the total number of civilians killed after the attack.
2.Foretold Prophesy
Pastor Jeremiah Nduwala became a known figure to Kenyans on social media after it became apparent that he foretold what will happen in Kenya on 15th January 2019.
On 3rd February 2018, Jeremiah, a Ugandan posted several prophesies of doom, among them Kenya being attacked on 14th January 2019 in the midnight.
The terror attack at Dusit Hotel along Riverside Drive happened just hours as compared to his prophecy.

3.El Adde Anniversary
Three years ago, Kenyan army fighting the Al Shabaab militia group was attacked leaving large number of Kenyan soldiers dead.
On the exact date, the terror attackers had the same date to launch the attack in Kenya at a time when they were marking third anniversary of the fallen soldiers
4.Same rescue Hero spotted
Inayat Kassam, a civilian and a licensed gun handler won the hearts of many social media users in Kenya after he was seen again risking his own life to save more lives at Riverside attack on Dusit Hotel.
Kassam who is a shooting trainer, demonstrated his selfless ambition to save lives at Westgate when he was seen with his pistol in hand in 2013 saving lives almost in a similar way at Dusit attack
Kenyans took to Twitter to celebrate him.
5.Victim cheats death Twice
Lucky woman was counting her blessings again after surviving a second terror attack six years later.
Ms Tracy Wanjiru was among the victims who were rescued from Westgate attack in 2013, and yesterday she also survived in a similar way.
The 28 year old woman was working as a hairdresser at Westgate during the attack.
“I was working there when the attackers stormed in, it was not easy just like today. All I can say is that I thank God,” she told Nairobi News in an exclusive interview.
In 2013 she was away from the attackers but the previous one, she was so close to the attack scene and relied on her previous experiences to escape the attackers.
“I jumped back to the salon, told my colleagues to be keen because we were under attack. They dismissed me at first but when they heard wails and screams, everyone went into hiding,” she narrated.
6.Same script used from 2013 attack
The attackers almost used the similar script they used to attack Kenyan in 2013.
Right from accessing the complex, targeting a highly populated centre and maiming innocent civilians
There true numbers was not immediately established
7.Same region of attack.
Both attacks came in targeting the suburban area Westlands. Westgate and 14 Riverside complex are located just few metres from each other.
The attack was also launched in the early evening in both terrific attack.
8. Terror Attack Advisory
Before the bloody attack, intelligence units had been warned of a planned attack, but unfortunately nothing serious was taken into account.
9.International media poor journalistic standards
During 2013 attack, CNN was on spot for painting Kenya in bad picture with poor reporting standards, in 2019, it is New York Times and Daily Express that got themselves in similar hot soup.
10.Prophet Owour warning
Both attacks happened months after Prophet Owour had prophesied that God would punish Kenyans if they did not follow His way and repent from committing sins
