Grace Kipchoim died on Friday 20th April 2018 at Nairobi Hospital located in Nairobi county.

The Baringo South MP had been battling with long illness before she lost the battle with the life sacking disease.

“This is very sad . We convey our condolences to her family, “said  Baringo North MP William Cheptumo.

10 facts about the late MP

  1. On August 8, 2017, the late was elected on her second term
  2. She campaigned from a hospital bed. She won the seat on a Jubilee Party ticket.
  3. It is largely believed that her development track record earned her much support.
  4. Another area she did well was her fight with odd cultural practices such as cattle rustling and FGM practices.
  5. The KCA University graduate was born on January 3rd in 1962
  6. The late suffered from cancer before her untimely death
  7. She was unable to cast her vote during Jubilee primaries in April 2017, but still emerged the winner
  8. Under her auspices, her constituency Baringo South was ranked 15 out of 290 based on proper use of funds
  9. She started ailing from cancer of blood way back in 2014
  10. First elected in 2013, then re-elected in 2017, she was among the current 22 female MPs who were serving as elected in constituencies
