Kenyan billionare Chris Kirubi lived large as a businessman and very low as a family man.

Not until his death in June 2021, Kenyans new very little or nothing at all about his low lying family and marriage life.

And today, we find out little known facts about his daughter known as Fiona Farha Kirubi.

  1. Fiona Farha Kirubi is the last-born daughter and Kirubi’s third child
  2. She is a mother to a 7-month-old boy known as Mufasa Kirubi
  3. Fiona is a graduate with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the prestigious Harvard Business School. 
  4. She also holds a Master of Arts (M.A) in Islamic finance from the Global University of Islamic Finance (INCEIF) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the American University in Dubai
  5. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Finance and Management from Richmond University- UK.
  6. Just like her dad, Fiona is a businesswoman and an entrepreneur with huge interests in ICT
  7. She worked at Globaleye where she was tasked with portfolio strategy, asset allocation, investment management and corporate solutions on pensions and insurance. 
  8. Fiona is a partner at Gateway Global and the head of Fintech and Leadership development for Africa
  9.  She also oversees the Gateway’s Conversion Factory, Digital Strategy & Fintech, Gender Equity, Inclusivity, Real Estate, and Social Responsibility across the continent.
  10. Fiona is also the founder of Muslim Women Tech, an NGO dedicated to promoting women’s IT skills in Malaysia and Kenya.
