Kenya will soon become a corruption case study for the whole world and even a showroom to other nations who does not fathom the pragmatic part of the act.Those who claim to be fighting corruption, according to IPSOS Synovate, are ironically doing the opposite of what is expected.
The following government officials are perceived to be the most corrupt according to a survey done to 2,002 Kenyans via IPSOS Synovate research group.
- Charity Ngilu
The ‘iron lady’ in support for corruption was alleged by EACC to have pioneered the inflation of Wiatiki farm in Likoni to a hefty pay sh.110M so as she get a kickback of sh.65M in return. Even though she was sacked on, nothing has been done to other deals she monitored in favor of corruption.
- William Ruto
He is a complete complement of corruption including being found guilty by a law court in Kenya, Ruto continues to preach justice and practice corruption. He has been charged with grabbing a land belong to an elderly man in Eldoret named Adrian Muteshia and a land belonging to Lang’ata Primary School.
He seems to have an insatiable appetite on grabbing public and privately owned lands.
The hustler went on a rampage to hustle and grab public and private lands such as Kenya Pipeline land in Nairobi, Upper Hill land in Nairobi, Processional Way in Nairobi just to name a few.
- Ann Waiguru
Ann Waiguru is facing charges of failing to oversee the loss of over sh.790M at her docket under the Ministry of Devolution and planning. Other scandals around her watch include the disappearance of youth fund and supervising massive corruption at her office.
She has absolutely tainted the trust of women in Kenya as the fight for corruption goes down day after day.
- Evens Kidero
His late election bribery case of sh.200B on Judge Philip Tunoi seems to cover up the massive looting he did at Mumias Sugar Company during his tenure as an MD.
The monies he looted in MSC are definitely the ones he used in campaing for Nairobi Governorship and bribery cases
- Michael Kamau
He was involved in the Standard Gauge Railway mega project scandal over unfair tender awards and massive bribery.
- Uhuru Kenyatta
He has consistently failed to stop the corruption menace bedeviling his government; consequently, he has been accused of spending so much on international trips that sees him get accompanied by so many unnecessary government officials who get funded by the public funds.
He has also reappointed corruptionists in his government
- Kazungu Kambi
The former CS to the Ministry of Labour maybe should have shot himself after declaring so if found guilty, he was alleged to have been involved in a misappropriation of sh.5B at NSSF without the clear due procedure to be followed
- Isaack Hassan
His has been accused of being involved in unfair allocation of tenders to the prospective companies that offers election materials.
The UK based firm, Smith and Ouzman. The scandal better known as the Chicken Gate Scandal
- Davis Chichir
He is largely present in the chicken gate scandal apart from featuring in other corruption deals under his docket of the Ministry of Energy.
- Mike Sonko
Though he is so popular among his voters and the only candidate to have won a landslide majority, it is so surprising why the voters admire him despite featuring in so many corruption mega scandals.
He is known to be bribing cases against his drug deals that earns him a lot of money at hand.
The government has also failed to control his drug deal due to bribery issues
