Victoria Rubadiri known by her close friends as Vicky, is a Nation Television reporter and news anchor for Weekend Edition. She also produces and hosts an NTV program called Women and Power. The program is aired on Saturdays.

Here are some facts about Rubadiri.

10. She is a graduate of broadcast journalism from the Temple University in Philadelphia in the United States.

9. She worked as business journalist and news presenter for Capital FM. She later moved to television.

8. She was public relations freelancer, when she was still in New York and New Jersey.

7. If she could not be a journalist, she could be a teacher. She enjoys teaching and mentoring people.

6. Her favorite book is the ‘Pilgrims Progress’ by John Bunyan. It encourages and inspires her.

5. She is a mother to a beautiful girl. The daughter inspires her to work harder everyday.

4. Her role models are Mitchel Obama and Christine Amanpour. Amanpour’s passion for journalism motivates her.

3. When she got pregnant at 18, she wanted to commit abortion. At that time she was still a student at Temple University.

2. She moved to Kenya together with her family in 2010 . She then stayed with them while she was searching for a job.
