Chris Kirubi is one of the richest Kenyan; a businessman, an industrialist and an entrepreneur. He owns 29% of shares at Centum, 49% of shares at Harco Tiger industries limited, 100% shares at Capital FM which is a Nairobi based radio, he also owns 10% of shares at UAP Insurance.

These are some unique facts about Kirubi:

10. He interacts with youths every Thursday for a bout three hours. He uses such opportunity to share business ideas with them. This is usually via his twitter hash tag dabbed AskKirubi. He belongs to online community.

9. His first job after graduation was sales. He was the salesman for Shell. He sold and repaired gas cylinders. He went a round peoples homes selling and fixing gas for them.

8. He is 73 years old and he has no plans for retirement. He is ever busy with tight schedule. He is stylish and social media friendly just like a youth.

7. He buys his suit from Italy. He loves Italian suits. His brands are made by tailors he personally know. He is very flamboyant and stylish.

6. He lost his parents while he was still young. After the loss of his parents he took it as a personal responsibility of sustaining his family. He even educated his brother who is currently a professor at United States International University.

5. He looks up to Bill Gates, Richard Branson and Donald Trump. These entrepreneurs are his role models, They inspire him and makes him believe that nothing is impossible.

4. He is a DJ. He is popularly known as DJ CK. His radio show at Capital FM is referred to as The Fuse. He presents the show as DJ CK.

3. Kirubi has an established fortune worth $300. According to recent Fobes ranking, he is the fourth richest Kenyan, falling few million dollars behind Shah and family, Kenyatta family and Naushad Merali.

2. He started his long journey of wealth creation by renovating and renting dilapidated buildings in Nairobi and Mombasa. He would then create capital for further investment.
