One of the great tricks in supermarkets is hidden in something that apparently makes life easier for us. However, it could hide some little noble tricks to make us overspend: The supermarket cart.
Behind that metal tool, there are some tricks that you will surely think, that are even accidental, however, according to Business Insider and HowStuffWorks, they hide deceptive uses that lead us to destroy our bank accounts.
The size.
Supermarket trolleys are designed to look relatively small (due to their height), but they actually have a large basket load capacity.
At the perception level, we will rarely carry too many things, until we see the account.
Your dominant hand.
A large percentage of people in the world are right-handed.
If you have noticed that your cart tends to deviate when moving forward and you think it is a failure derived from use, you are wrong.
Generally they deviate to the left, so you will have to use your left hand to carry it, which leaves your – possible – dominant hand free to pick up more products.
Brake.
If the cart cannot go faster is another trick. You cannot move faster, this with the intention of making you go slower and see more products. Surely you will take something you did not plan.
