On the Christmas day, a minor aged three years was left fighting for hisown life after he was pushed from a moving matatu.
The matatu was rushing to pick more passengers on the next stage.
The boy and her mother Serfine Omondi from Othoro village in Kasipul, Homabay County are said to be on their journey for justice after the heinous act.
The boy is said to have been pushed when the matatu (registration number KCM 239 K) thought he had actually alighted on the stage.
“The conductor who was in a hurry and pushed the boy who fell on tarmac. “When I protested, the conductors said that there was nothing I could do as the vehicle is owned by a police officer” explained the boy’s mother
The boy was treated at Matata Nursing Home and he is scheduled for an X-ray, but the family is also fighting with financial constraints.
The accident was reported at Oyugis police station.
