On 5th June about 5pm, a light aircraft belonging to Fly 540 lost contact with the control team. Since then their rescue operations was activated.
Their last signals were received from the Aberdares in Nyandarua County before it ccould make into its destination 60 Km away.
The Cesna C208 craft, registration number 5Y-CAC had 8 occupants, two crew members and six passengers when it left a Kitale airstrip in Trans-Nzoia County shortly after 4pm.
But there are a bucket of mysterious and bizarre occurrences before the crash of the plane belonging to East Africa Safari Air Express (FlySax), a subsidiary of Fly540.
1.Poorly maintained aircraft
An Australian politician had recently compared poor state of planes in Kenya, then their is a plane missing with this kind of status
This is the belly of a plane which flew passengers into JKIA this evening. Yaani, it’s like a gangland. That Australian who compared Kenyan airport operations to Somalia was not wrong. #WilsonAirportCartels pic.twitter.com/PayzxYrWuU

2.Change of lanes
The main reason as for why the plane was redirected to land at JKIA instead of it’s intial position has not been dealt with. The plane was meant to reach Wilson Airport.
CONFIRMED: KCAA intentionally redirected Fly 540 flight from Kitale to JKIA instead of Wilson Airport. They wanted it to crash so that it can distract Kenyans from the on-going corruption under-currents. #WilsonAirportCartels

3. Suspension of rescue operations
Due to bad weather, the flight rescue mission was called off until 4am when it resumed, reason there was bad weather.
A country that wants to lead Africa, cannot have a well prepared rescue mission that can work under poor weather conditions.
So the search for the flight was suspended because of the night? Like the life of the 10 on board is not that important? Why do the airlines get charged so much when the govt can’t even provide the most critical support like disaster response? #wilsonAirportCartels

By the way, rescue missions are mainly done under bad weather.
4.Kenya Air force went missing in action
Not even he well trained Kenya Air Force could go for the rescue mission, a special unit which is supposed to do well in such times.
SAD that guys Draw Salaries went home to sleep while Kenyans were trapped in a wreckage inside the Aberdares! Who trained these FOOLS to only rescue in GOOD WEATHER and Daytime only!?Heads MUST ROLL, FOOLS must go to Jail for Criminal Negligence of Duty! #WilsonAirportCartels

5.Poor Standards of Aviation schools
Kenyans have cried foul of poorly done classes with so many schools offering certificates without good competence of students
From flight schools which fake hours for trainees and handing them certificates as qualified pilots while they don't even have a capacity to operate a toy drone to planes with no insurance and maintenance records, you will be surprised. It is gangland. #WilsonAirportCartels

6.Why did the pilot fly over poor weather?
By redirecting pilot Barbara to fly to JKIA instead of Wilson, the JKIA tower actually forced her to fly over Kinangop and into some terrific weather. #WilsonAirportCartels pic.twitter.com/yvSueb5w4N
