  2. After working for UN in different capacities, he was a U.N. Secretary General in 1996
  3. He served as a UN Secretary General for two terms leaving office in December 2006

  5. He will remain in the books of Kenya’s history after finding a truce in PEV of 2007 between President Mwai Kibaki and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga
