Defining realistic goals, writing them, finding a partner and concentrating energies in a specific project are some of the keys to fulfill all the goals of the year 2019.

Contents
1. LIMIT THE NUMBER OF GOALS2. SET REALISTIC GOALS3. WRITE THEM4. FIND A PARTNER5. DECIDE ON A GENERAL THEME FOR NEXT YEAR

The beginning of a new year is an ideal time to assess what we have achieved, review our pending dreams and, of course, draw up a plan to go after them.

Do you really want to achieve that promotion at work , resume the University or improve family ties?

The most important thing will then be to consider the changes in behavior that the new goals will require and design a system to make them reality.

Here are 5 keys to get the most out of 2019:

1. LIMIT THE NUMBER OF GOALS

The popular saying asserts that “He who covers much, little squeezes” and reality seems to agree with it.

Sometimes we generate long lists of purposes and fail to comply because they simply are too many. Choosing less goals will make fewer opportunities to feel that we are failing , as well as fewer demands for our will power.

2. SET REALISTIC GOALS

While a goal that is too small will not create enough motivation, an overly large one can make us feel overwhelmed.

If you set a very ambitious purpose, it is convenient to divide it into smaller and more realistic pieces, with detailed plans on how to reach those micro-goals throughout the year.

3. WRITE THEM

Writing goals is a valid and widely used technique, as it forces a deeper level of commitment.

However, it is also useful to go one step further and write things that could hinder your compliance . According to experts, identifying the thoughts that prevent you from daring will help you transform limitations into successful strategies.

4. FIND A PARTNER

When you find a partner that shares the same goal, your achievement becomes simpler as it increases the source of motivation.

5. DECIDE ON A GENERAL THEME FOR NEXT YEAR

To better focus the energies, you can try to define what will be treated for you in 2019 . It could be the year of health, the great labor takeoff, the specialization or the balance.

Decide with a word what will be the theme that will drive you through the 12 months and create a mental map that connects your goals to that general idea.
