1. They do not recognize their employees

While employees are able to assume a higher interest, they are unlikely to remain in one place if their contributions are not valued.

The bosses must take care to discover what is what makes them feel good and recognize them for their efforts, especially if they plan to increase their work and / or responsibilities.

2. Promote the wrong people

Ascending or hiring the wrong people can demotivate the team and even cause dramatic consequences in the workplace, therefore, it is not a decision that can be taken lightly.

3. They do not stimulate the skills of their employees

Regardless of the ability and talent of employees, managers cannot ignore what their daily operation or allow them to work completely autonomously.

Instead, they must take care to supervise their work and offer them constant feedback. Likewise, the fact of providing opportunities for training and professional development, for example through courses and training, is a key element to motivate the team.

4. They do not keep their word

Reliability and honesty are two essential qualities that all bosses must fulfill. If they do not keep their word or do not act according to what was said, why should the others do it?

5. They limit the creativity of their employees

Allowing employees to innovate and propose objectives that move them out of their comfort zone are two attitudes that characterize good bosses.

In fact, the existence of a dynamic and creative work environment was one of the most valued by employees when choosing where to apply, according to the latest edition of the Talent and Reputation Study for Employers.
