1.-Monitoring your use
Dosing the use is the beginning. Ask yourself how many times you check your most used social network. There is an application that will help you keep track, it’s called Checky. With this application you can check the time you spend per day using the smartphone.
2.-Identify
Recognize why you enter your smartphone. Is it boredom? Anxiety? Do you feel lonely
3.-Cell free zone
You can determine when you will not use your cell phone. For example, your vacations, work-free hours or family dinner.
4.-Real life
That being online does not replace real life. When you want to meet your friends you can have coffee with them in person. Affective bonds are created with the contact and not through a screen.
5.- Focus
The attention in the present will help you to be connected with people and so you will not run after your cell phone. Focus on what really matters, like your family, and friends.
