Although being thin is often healthy, being underweight can also cause complications in your body.

Here are a few safe ways to increase .

1. Eat more frequently

Because of your condition, you are likely to feel satisfied faster. So it is important that you eat five to six small meals during the day, instead of two or three large ones.

2. Choose foods rich in nutrients

Like whole grain breads, pastas, and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy and lean meats; and nuts and seeds. All as part of an overall healthy diet.

3. Eat smoothies

They are made with milk, fresh fruits and flaxseed powder, for example. These are a thousand times better for you than diet soda, coffee, or other drinks with little nutritional value.

4. Add calories

It is necessary that your dishes add calories, to do this add cheese. Eat scrambled eggs for breakfast and use skim milk in your soups.

5. Treat yourself

Although, you have to be aware of your consumption of sugar and fat, even when you are underweight, eating a slice of cake from time to time is not bad. However, most of the goodies you eat should be healthy, like yogurt or granola bars.

6. Exercise

Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building your muscles. It is also an excellent appetite stimulant.
