7 Bad Habits That Damage Your Kidneys

Our kidneys are some of the most vital organs in our body.

Tasked with the role of eliminating wastes from our blood system inform of urine, kidneys also serve the role of balancing the overall fluid balance in our body system.

Failure to look after our kidneys may lead to kidney diseases and in serious cases kidney failure. One can fortunately survive with one kidney and also get a kidney from a donor if both fail to work out.

Below are some of the bad habits you should avoid to keep your kidneys correctly functioning

  1. Frequent holding of urine can lead to kidney stones disease. Always pass urine when feeling pressed.
  2. Eat enough vitamins and minerals in order to service your kidneys. Kidney function decreases in deficit of these supply.
  3. Avoid too much animal protein like red meat so as to avoid overworking your kidneys
  4. Avoid excess sugar which ends up overworking ones kidneys
  5. Take enough water so as to allow toxins and wastes to be flashed with ease through kidneys
  6. Avoid too much coffee which puts to much stress on your kidneys
  7. Too much alcohol also prevents kidneys from their ability to filter wastes and toxins from blood
