The answer is disappointing, since many of the foods that are consumed do not contribute anything to health, examples are the ones that we describe below:

  1. The juices

As soon as you squeeze the fruits to obtain only the juice, you remove important amounts of fiber and other elements found in these foods.

In addition, fiber is the main element that makes you feel satisfied. In this way the only thing left in the juice is sugar.

  1. Yogurt

Yogurt is one of the foods that generates the most controversy, since many say it is a good source of protein for a diet, while others claim that more than protein, this food provides fats and sugars.

The truth is that 225 grams of yogurt can provide more than 300 calories, at a very high level.

  1. Granola

Many times this, juice with yogurt are complemented to achieve the favorite healthy breakfast. The truth is that it is a very healthy product because it adds a lot of sugar in the preparation.

  1. Gluten free bread

Only between 1 and 10% of the population suffers from celiac disease, which can be simplified as gluten intolerance.

Many people believe that eating bread or pasta if gluten is beneficial, but there is not much evidence to support it. On the other hand, these types of products are up to 70% more expensive than regular products.

  1. Almond milk

Although it has been used as a substitute for cow’s milk, some studies show that it suffers from the concentration of nutrients it offers, since one glass of milk contains only 2% almonds.

  1. Multivitamins

It is true that we need vitamins and minerals to keep us healthy. But usually with the food of daily foods are enough to provide us with these nutrients. In rare cases some people are with vitamin deficiency.

Therefore, it is not necessary to take this type of pills daily.

  1. Coconut oil

This oil is virtually identical to olive oil in terms of fat and calorie content.

However a spoonful of olive oil contains only 1 gram of saturated fat and the coconut oil about 10 grams, so it is much less healthy.
