Having initiative, showing interest and being curious are some of the keys that will allow you to access a fixed job in a company.

In times of economic crisis and high unemployment, getting work has become one of the highest aspirations of young people in the region. In this sense, entering as an intern an organization can be the initial kick-off to get a contract .

Here are some keys you in the transition process

1. EVALUATE IF THERE ARE REALISTIC POSSIBILITIES TO STAY IN THE COMPANY

If it is realistically evaluated that there are possibilities of obtaining a job in the company, it is much easier to convey a sense of belonging to the organization , an aspect highly valued by selection specialists and managers.

2. DRAW AN ACTION PLAN IN WRITING FROM THE FIRST DAYS

It is necessary to trust in one’s resources and mark the differences. I identifies those gaps that have not yet been explored by any other worker of that company – a fresh look will have a clearer picture about it. In addition, it is important to show the worth to the right people.

3. SHOW THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WORKING IN THAT ORGANIZATION

Generally a junior collaborator is not usually asked much beyond a certain level of training and a very limited experience. In return, a high degree of motivation and commitment is valued , two factors that anticipate the desire to learn and grow in the company.

4. BE CURIOUS

Without interfering in the work of others, it is convenient to investigate, ask and show interest in all those spheres of life of the company that can help to understand and integrate into it.

5. TUNE IN “LEARN MODE”

There is nothing more irritating than a novice without the humility to recognize their limitations. Remember that you are in the company to work, learn and help , so let the rush to thrive aside and focus on absorbing everything.

6. TAKE INITIATIVE

Mentors will not always have time to be on top. Show that you are a person with disposition and resources: talk to your classmates and use what you need. The worst choice is to stay seated .

7. INTEGRATE IN THE TEAM

The talent must be at the service of the team. Both the triumphs and the mistakes – which, at first, will be frequent – will affect the work of those around you. Probably the best option is to park the ego and contribute to a well-cohesive team .
