The best thing is to give yourself the opportunity to know your peers and make positive judgments about them.

Therefore, we give you the following seven reasons to avoid gossip and have a better quality of life.

  1. Low self – esteem:

The gossip can destroy both the essence and quality of life of the affected person like yours. In addition, they are a reflection of the level of your self-esteem

A studies have also found out that gossip reduces the productivity of workers by losing up to three hours with gossip.

The gossip affect judgment on people, but also the perception; that is, with negative comments, the brain more quickly identifies the affected person’s face than if we had a good image of him.

When you are the generator of gossip, not only reflect your insecurities and low self-esteem, but you lose the respect and trust of others. You will have fewer friendships and the repudiation of your behavior will grow. Be honest!

6.- Lack of credibility:

Even if it is the first time you are immersed in a gossip, your credibility will be lost and it will be very difficult to rebuild it. Also, avoid living with people who have this reputation, remember the famous phrase: “tell me who you are with and I’ll tell you who you are.”

The gossip detonate fights, arguments, claims and exclusions, either to clarify or worse.

Remember that the power of your words can build or destroy the image of others, so think and verify facts before you say them and, above all, analyze how you would react if they spoke ill of you. Be positive and avoid gossip under any circumstances!
