A matatu accident which occurred at Kinanugu area, in Nyeri county has killed 8 family members after in rolled off from the road. The family members were from attending a burial ceremony of their own.
This accident comes a day after President Uhuru Kenyatta barred the body mandated top ensure safety on the roads, NTSA from manning the roads.
NTSA has been hit by corruption cases in the month of December, where more than 300 Kenyans lost their lives on the road carnage.
Kenyans have also been disappointed the way NTSA have been manning the roads, bearing in mind that they overlook those who break traffic rules once their hands have been grissed with just few coins
