Viral photos of a nine year old girl breastfeeding her new born have drawn mixed reactions from Nairobians.

The girl who is believed to have delivered at Nairobi Hospital, however, has a shocking revelation on who the dad is.

The word, though not verified, claim that the little girl was abused by her own father, who is said to be responsible for her pregnancy.

This is another shocking revelation of a pedophile on loose. No any arrests has been made so far.

Despite the tough Kenyan law which prohibits any sexual contact with minors (The Sexual Offences Act and the Children’s Act) Kenyan minors are still largely endangered under the hands of pedophiles, with most of them being their close relatives.

A section of ‘The Sexual Offences Act and the Children’s Act’

“A person who commits an offence of defilement with a child aged eleven years or less shall upon conviction be sentenced to imprisonment for life. A person who commits an offence of defilement with a child between the age of twelve and fifteen years is liable upon conviction to imprisonment for a term of not less than twenty years.  A person who commits an offence of defilement with a child between the age of sixteen and eighteen years is liable upon conviction to imprisonment for a term of not less than fifteen years,”

Unfortunately most of the offenders easily go free from the hands of the law.

In July 2018, 9 teenage girls were caught pregnant in a local school from Nyamira county.

Since then, no any single arrests has been made for the men who defiled the minors from Matutu PAG Mixed Secondary School between April and June 2018.
