People and companies must take care of their resources to be more productive: time, money , personnel, etc.

Contents
1. Select your clients.2. Don’t try to do everything.3. Check what things the money is spent on.

Large companies can invest to improve their processes, but in small companies it is not always possible. However, experts identify 3 basic principles to increase the productivity of a micro-business:

1. Select your clients.

There are clients that consume more resources than others. If you have limited resources , identify which clients you will spend your time with. Usually it should be your income earners. It is better to have 100% happy customers than to spend 100% of your time keeping 80% happy and 20% not.

2. Don’t try to do everything.

Make three lists: what things are mandatory to do, what you can stop doing and what would be good for you to do. So you can organize your time and direct your efforts to the things that are most important to your business, those that generate income.

3. Check what things the money is spent on.

Are they really necessary? Perhaps transportation for employees is unnecessary because only 20% use it. Maybe you are accumulating things that nobody uses and that occupy spaces that could be more productive.

The way you manage your company’s resources will have a positive or negative impact on productivity. Productivity is said to be the result of a commitment to excellence and smart planning.
