Patrick Matasi who is Kenya’s Harambee Stars Goal Keeper, was with his family on his way back to Nairobi from Kakamega before he met the sudden accident in Lessos.
The accident occurred after a tyre burst that forced his car to lose control and rolled several times.
Well-wishers rescued him and took him to Nandi County Hospital where he was given first aid, before being transferred Kakamega County Referral Hospital where he and his family are undergoing medication.
Goalkeeper Matasi also plays for St. Georges, Ethiopia.
