In December 2022, youthful Nelly Cheboi, who had quit her software job to create tech labs for Kenyan schoolkids with upcycled computers, was announced as CNN’s Hero of the Year 2022.
Nelly travelled with her dear mother to USA, so as to receive the coveted award!
Nelly was aged 29 years old from and hailed Mogotio, a far-off place with good goat meat, before he went on the world stage to win the 2022 CNN Hero of the Year Award
