Kenyan social media influencer Hannah Benta has found herself in hot water after making controversial remarks about relationships and infidelity. The 27-year-old content creator openly confessed that she is attracted to married men and has no problem being a second wife. However, her claim that wives are to blame when their husbands cheat has sparked outrage, particularly among married women.

Hannah Benta’s Bold Claims on Infidelity

In a now-viral video, Benta unapologetically stated that most men step out of their marriages because their wives fail to keep things “spicy” at home. According to her, women should take responsibility for their husband’s unfaithfulness because of how they present themselves.

“90 percent of us women are the reason men cheat,” she claimed. “A man has married you, provided for you, and comes home to find you in a stocking, a jersey, and a pair of trousers. You’re not spicing things up. Then he meets me in a bikini… what do you expect?”

Her remarks immediately sparked outrage, with many people—especially women—calling her out for absolving men of responsibility for their own actions.

Relationship Experts Weigh In

Marriage and relationship coach Mary Nzisa strongly disagreed with Benta’s stance. Nzisa explained that cheating is a personal decision, not a reaction to how a partner looks or dresses.

“Blaming a woman for a man’s infidelity removes accountability from the man,” Nzisa stated. “Men cheat because they choose to, not because their wives wear pajamas at home. A strong relationship is built on trust, respect, and effort, not outfits. If a man values his marriage, he won’t stray, regardless of external temptation.”

She further urged couples to focus on mutual appreciation and emotional connection rather than superficial factors such as clothing choices at home.

Ex-Boyfriend Captain Sammir Calls Her Out

Benta’s ex-boyfriend, Captain Sammir, also weighed in on the controversy. Following her confession about dating married men, Sammir took to social media to criticize her, denying that he had ever cheated on his wife. He went on to compare Benta to his wife, emphasizing his commitment to his marriage.

His remarks further fueled online discussions, with some defending him while others accused him of seeking attention.

Is There Truth to Her Claims?

While Benta’s views have sparked intense reactions, the broader conversation about infidelity remains complex. Studies suggest that men cheat for various reasons, including lack of emotional connection, personal insecurities, or opportunity, rather than just their wives’ appearance.

The debate surrounding her comments highlights the need for honest discussions about relationships, trust, and accountability. Ultimately, most experts agree that blaming women for men’s unfaithfulness is an outdated and harmful narrative.

Whether or not Hannah Benta stands by her controversial remarks, one thing is certain—she has ignited a conversation that won’t die down anytime soon.
