During a recent outing, Amber Ray made it clear that she sees no issue in referring to her husband as a wealthy man. She dismissed those criticizing her choice of words, urging them to celebrate their own partners however they pleased.
“Kuna watu wanakasirika sana wakiskia mimi nikijiita bibi ya tajiri, and they even try so hard to prove to me that mimi si bibi ya tajiri. I always ask myself, like we are not in any competition. If you feel that your husband is also rich, you can also call him a tajiri. Let me call my husband tajiri in peace, you do not know why I am calling him tajiri,” she stated.
Her husband, Rapudo, also weighed in on the discussion, emphasizing that public opinion does not define a person’s financial status.
“Si unajua people will always talk. It doesn’t mean that if you call someone tajiri, that person isn’t a tajiri. We cannot all be rich, but also we can all be rich,” he said with a cheeky smile.
Amber Calls Out Fake Accounts Attacking Her
Amber also voiced her frustration over social media trolls creating fake accounts just to insult her. She questioned their motives, wondering why they were so invested in discrediting her husband’s wealth.
“Mtu anaenda anacreate a pseudo account anakuja hapo ananitukana akiniambia vile mimi si bibi ya tajiri. I am not qualified to be bibi ya tajiri, bwana yangu hata si tajiri. And I’m like, do you even know his net worth?” she asked.
Is Kennedy Rapudo Wealthy?
Kennedy Rapudo has often displayed his financial might, revealing that his children attend British system schools that cost nearly KSh 1 million per term. He also mentioned that their household shopping expenses amount to approximately KSh 200,000 monthly.
Despite facing allegations of being a fraudster, Amber defended him, stating that he is involved in the tours and travel business for a company based in the Netherlands, which contributes to their affluent lifestyle.
