Celebrated Kenyan Afro-pop star Arrow Bwoy has firmly ruled out the possibility of embracing polygamy, despite being raised in a polygamous household. In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke during comedian Mulamwah’s Let Me Explain show, the Radio Love hitmaker shared insights into his views on marriage, his relationship with fellow musician Nadia Mukami, and his upcoming music projects.
Arrow Bwoy, who shares a three-year-old son, Haseeb Kai, with Nadia Mukami, said that while his father had two wives, he personally does not see himself following the same path.
“I come from a polygamous family. My dad had two wives, and it worked for him. That was a different era,” he explained. “As for me, I don’t have a reason to marry a second wife. It would be stressful. If handling one wife is already stressful, imagine marrying another one.”
He also jokingly noted that Nadia would never tolerate such a move, adding, “She can’t allow me. She would probably call the media or address the nation in a long post.”
Wedding Plans Still on Hold
Arrow Bwoy disclosed that he and Nadia had already made plans for their wedding, but they were forced to postpone the ceremony due to unavoidable circumstances. However, he emphasized that the dream of exchanging vows with her remains intact.
“I would have wedded, but God has His plan. We had planned our wedding, but we postponed it. It is still my dream to walk with my person in front of the world and exchange vows,” he said.
He further stressed that he is not pressured to host an extravagant wedding, saying, “I will cut the coat according to my size. I’m not out to impress anyone. Everyone has their own capability.”
Arrow Bwoy Live Concert Coming in 2025
In addition to opening up about his personal life, Arrow Bwoy revealed that he is working on a major concert titled Arrow Bwoy Live, set for 2025. He promised fans a memorable performance and applauded fellow entertainers, including Mulamwah, for their role in elevating Kenya’s entertainment scene.
“I’m planning Arrow Bwoy Live in 2025. I’m proud of Mulamwah and all the other artists who are doing everything possible to raise our flag higher,” he said.
Nadia Mukami’s Lighthearted Reaction to Viral Video
Earlier this year, a video of Arrow Bwoy dancing with another woman during a performance in Ethiopia sparked playful reactions online. Nadia Mukami humorously commented on the clip, saying it could be used as “evidence” during dowry negotiations, reflecting the couple’s strong and jovial bond.
As Arrow Bwoy continues to grow in his career, he remains grounded in his principles and focused on his family. With love, music, and loyalty at the core of his journey, fans can expect nothing less than authenticity from the beloved artist.
