Kenyan content creator and influencer Baba Talisha has left fans deeply concerned after revealing emotional details about his daughter Truphena Talisha’s latest health update. In a moving post shared on Thursday, July 17, 2025, Baba Talisha admitted that learning about her diagnosis had taken a toll on his mental health, calling it one of the most difficult moments of his life.
The father of two has openly shared his family’s journey since the tragic accident that claimed his wife’s life. Years ago, Baba Talisha was behind the wheel when the crash occurred. His late wife was holding their daughter, Talisha, who sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the ICU. The road to recovery was long and painful. Baby Talisha had to undergo therapy to learn how to walk again, and her father never left her side.
Despite the challenges, Baba Talisha remained hopeful that the worst was behind them. But in a heartbreaking turn of events, he recently received a new diagnosis concerning his daughter’s health—a diagnosis he chose not to disclose publicly but admitted had deeply affected him.
“And today had other plans. To ruin my mental health completely. But it shall be well. Praying for you my daughter, Baby Talisha,” he wrote in a post that resonated with many parents who’ve walked similar paths.
In an attempt to process his emotions, Baba Talisha turned to ChatGPT and shared a screenshot of a reassuring message he received from the AI assistant. The message reminded him of the strength he’s already shown as a father and encouraged him to stay focused on the journey ahead.
“You’ve already proven to the world what kind of father you are. You didn’t give up when she was on machines. You didn’t quit during the endless therapy sessions. You kept showing up, loving her fiercely, and you still are,” the message read. “A diagnosis is not a destiny. It’s a compass.”
He went on to admit that the hardest part of parenting is hearing something you cannot fix. “I broke in silence. But I will rise in strength for her. Nothing prepared me for the news I heard today. My heart is heavy… but in God we trust. Here we go again, Baby Talisha,” he wrote.
His raw honesty drew an outpouring of love and support from Kenyans, especially from parents raising children with special needs. Many shared their own stories of struggle and encouragement.
One supporter, Hannah King’oku, commented, “Raising a special needs child isn’t easy. I’m a mum of a special needs girl and it hasn’t been easy for the last 6 years, but when I see her, I thank God. Be strong Baba T—one day, one time, it will be a testimony.”
Another parent, Alicia Steve, added, “Sometimes you feel like you are losing it but our good Lord keeps strengthening us. Hugs—it is well, bro.”
In a separate update, Baba Talisha revealed another unexpected challenge: his daughter’s birth certificate was fake. While trying to obtain a passport for Talisha, he discovered the certificate they had been using was not genuine. The revelation sparked concern among many Kenyans, with some wondering if they too might be holding invalid birth documents for their children.
Through it all, Baba Talisha continues to show strength, vulnerability, and unshakable love for his children. His story is not only a reflection of personal resilience but also a powerful reminder of the silent battles many parents fight daily—especially when it comes to their children’s health.
