An poorly recorded video has emerged showing Anti-riot police officers brutally beating and assaulting University Of Nairobi students.

This event sadly happened from their hostels, away from where they had been demonstrating.
The student went into peaceful demos after the arrest of their former UoN chair leader who is now an MP at Embakassi East.
Babu Owino had been arrested after he uttered statements which were deemed to demean the seat of the presidency and the first, first lady Ngina Kenyatta.
Babu was finally released yesterday in the midday after his case was heard a Kibera Law courts and freed of a bail of Ksh.200,000
