A selfless traffic police has demonstrated ‘Utumishi Kwa Woter’ mottor after helping stranded passengers and motorists on flooded Nairobi-Mombasa road stretch at Sultan Hamud town.

The police officer is pictured in a pool of dangerously running water, with heavy rains pounding on him.

Usually soft-hearted ones would run and call for a back-up from their warm seats. But this was a different case.

Situation Mombasa Rd at Sultan Hamud. The volume of human and vehicular traffic is not commensurate to 1970s infrastructure. Urgent intervention needed more than SGR. Rush construction on new additional 4 lanes please @NziokaWaita pic.twitter.com/gFlJvhjzgB
