The Kenya Airport Authority (KAA) have announced that JKIA will be shutdown during the landing of US First Lady Melania Trump in Nairobi.
In the same breathe, fashion gig will be focus their eyes on Melania Trump who is know for her high sense of fashion as well as being one of the top US models.
A combination of Melania and Kenya’s First Lady Margret Kenyatta will offer fashion lovers something to smile or criticize in the same measure.
Melania will be in company of Margret as they look forward to visit US projects in Kenya such as early-childhood education, wildlife conservation, and HIV prevention.
In her two day visit, Melania will also attend a theatre show at Kenya National Theatre with Kenya’s First lady.
According to KAA, the JKIA will be shutdown on Thursday from 5:30pm to 9pm and on Saturday from midnight to 9am during her departure.
“During this time all the domestic flight operations handled at T2 will be handled at JKIA’s Terminal 1D. Terminal 1E (T1E) will be used for International Arrivals and Terminal 1B (T1B) FOR International departures,” read part of the statement.
US Ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec will also be part of Melania’s convoy in Kenya.
