Since then, you have been trying to follow the advice to the letter even though sometimes trying to get to that amount becomes too heavy and complicated.

What you surely did not know is that, although at a general level the premise is accepted that an adult person needs a minimum of two liters of water a day to stay balanced (60% of our body is water and for it to work properly it is essential to maintain this proportion), the truth is that each person’s water needs vary depending on various factors: age, weight, physical activity that is performed …

So, how much water should we drink each day? We are going to answer this question. Very attentive!

This is the correct amount of water you should drink per day

It is absolutely true that water can help us lose weight and is fundamental in our lives to keep us hydrated and strong.

However, it is often a serious mistake to consume more than the body actually needs to perform its functions. When this happens the only thing we are getting is putting our health at risk instead of doing our body in favor. For this reason, we will give you the necessary keys so that you know exactly how much water you should consume per day. Take note.

Although it may seem like a lie, the body weight of each person is largely related to the amount of water that should be consumed. A thin person will not need to drink as much water as one who is heavier. And you will ask: And how can I know exactly how much concrete my body needs according to my weight? Very easy. There is a very easy formula that can be quite useful.

To get the exact amount of water that you should consume in a healthy way according to your weight body you must multiply your weight in kilograms by 35 ml. That is to say: 35ml x Kg of weight.

In this way, a person of 70 kg, for example, would need to drink approximately 2450 ml of liquid per day, that is: almost 2 and a half liters of water per day which is equivalent to about 8-10 glasses of liquid.

You must bear in mind that the foods that we drink daily also contain liquids, so you should not be obsessed with drinking that amount of water since the diet makes up for it on the other hand.

Other things to take into account in the daily water

In addition to the weight, when calculating the amount of water that we must consume per day, we must take into account other factors:

1. If you do some kind of sport habitually or practice physical exercise, you should know that it is recommended to take an additional liter of water for each hour of training.

2. If you do not usually include fruits and vegetables in your daily diet, it is recommended that you increase the amount of water you drink per day.

3. If you suffer from any disease or have low defenses, it is also essential that you include more water in your daily routine than usual, since in these cases it is essential to be hydrated.

Tips to meet the daily water goal

We know that it is sometimes difficult to reach the indicated daily water. Many people forget to do it or simply find it very difficult. Therefore, here are some recommendations for you to meet the goal.

1. A good option is to consume a glass of water before each meal. In addition to creating a good habit, you will help your body metabolize food better.

2. Another idea you can take in your day to drink a glass of water on an empty stomach and another before going to bed.

3. If your big problem is that you do not like water at all because it does not taste like anything, what you can do is add an ingredient such as a lemon or an orange to get water with flavor. You can also choose to drink tea. Of course, do not add sugar or you will harm the body much more than you will benefit.

4. If you often forget the amount of water you have to drink per day, you can make a kind of schedule with squares and mark them each time you drink a glass. It will be a kind of challenge and a fun and original way to reach the goal.

If little by little you are incorporating this series of tricks in your day to day, very soon you will get to consume the amount of water that corresponds to you.

Guidelines to know if you are drinking enough water

The best way to know if you are properly hydrated is through urine. It is important that you notice very well the frequency with which you go to the bathroom to pee and the color it has.

If the tone of the urine is very light yellow it means that you are well hydrated, however, if the tone is dark
