TOP 5 Most Popular Male TV Anchors in Kenya . ‘Maendeleo ya Wanaume’ has spoken, and they have decreed that they must rate their male counterparts who are greatly doing well in the female stereotyped industry.More often, this is a women world when it comes to portraying your popularity which is closely mistaken with modelling.

I believe since men rarely model and are not attractive on the screens, that is why they are not tabulated in the fame industry, however they should since there is no such rule preventing the males from being rated.

Dennis Okari and Allan Namu -5%

They both tied with a percentage of merely 5% as they were the least popular male news TV personalities. Dennis Okari was hyped by his candid NTV investigative while Allan Namu was advantaged by his investigative work with KTN and also his close association with Mohammed Ali who is more popular.

Mohammed Ali- 11%

His ratings went drastically down due to his political associations and even being rumored that he was in a contention to vie for a political seat come 2017.

Though he remains popular than his male counterparts in such a big competitive environment.

He is well known for his investigative program Jicho Pevu for KTN.

Jeff Koinange – 15%

He returned to our screens with Jeff Koinange Live for KTN which is a better version of Capital Talk which was previously hosted at K24.

The Bench, as it is fondly known has had a big impact on our screens both on Thursdays and Wednesdays.

It is undoubtedly the only show in Kenya with such a long airtime per week

Larry Madowo- 27%

With his Friday show ‘theTrend’ he is surely a good figure to keenly follow at the end of the week when it comes to what is currently on trend and technology

Hussein Mohammed – 47%

   He leads the cut with a large margin of about 20%, probably because of his candid nature and a sharp personality when it comes to reading news and political interviews.

The no nonsense political has earned him a big spot in the hearts of many Kenyans.
