A Mexican police officer belonging to Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) has been suspended after taking a controversial selfie that went viral on social media.The selfie happy snap officer took a selfie in official service uniform with an official pistol pointed at his dear head.
The unmoved police officer said the shocking photo was for “personal use”, a tribunal heard.
According to sources, the officer had to present himself at the town council with a statement explaining his actions, after which he was suspended pending a further enquiry.
Once the enquiry is complete, it is thought the man will either be sacked or reinstated.
The image shows the officer in full uniform including his hat and bulletproof vest, with his phone in one hand taking the selfie whilst the other holds his gun, the end of which rests against his temple.
The officer’s name and workplace was not revealed in the reports.
Maybe he was just preparing for an early shock for his unsuspecting fool’s day on April 1st culprits.
Recently in Kenya, it should well remembered that a female police officer from Kiambu town was lashed on social media after her viral photo went all around portraying her dressed in very tight sexual skimpy official police clothes.
Linda Okello who became everyone’s favorite cop was later deployed to Mandera regions as a disciplinary action of dressing seductively while on official duties.
