Even in times of uncertainty, when life is far from perfect, it is important to keep things in perspective.

Keep in mind the great privileges with which you count – and those that you have become accustomed to.

Without them, your life would not be the same.

  1. You are alive
  2. You did not go to bed hungry last night
  3. You did not sleep in the open
  4. You can choose what clothes to wear this morning
  5. Your life is not in danger
  6. You know someone who loves you
  7. You have access to clean drinking water
  8. You have access to medical care
  9. You have access to the Internet (that’s why you’re reading this)
  10.  You know how to read (you’re doing it right now)

Some might say that you are an incredibly rich and privileged person, so remember to be grateful for all the things you have (and often do not value).
