Kenyans have applauded a Doctor of Laws thesis presented at the University of Nairobi by Prof Patricia Kameri-Mbote.
The huge volume thesis read by one of Kenya’s popular legal scholars, Prof. Kameri-Mbote, no doubt rivals Education CS Prof. George Magoha’s famous 81 page CV.
Today, Prof. Kameri-Mbote would brag as the only woman and the sixth student to be awarded with a Higher Doctorate degree from UoN in the entire country.
Prof. Kameri-Mbote is a well known scholar who has contributed widely in key areas such as international law, environmental law, women’s rights and property rights.
For one to be enrolled in such a distinguished class of a Higher PhD level, you must meet the following.
- A graduate of Doctor of Philosophy degree
- A graduate of Doctor of Medicine degree
- A graduate of Doctor of Philosophy degree from any other recognized university for at least five years studying
